Blue Lightning

One of our recent visitors, Cristy Preslar, met a man who was unable to walk or communicate verbally.  He managed to get across the idea that he needed her help.  She went with Sarah Speer  to his house, and found that he had a hand cart in need of repair.
Cristy spent some time finding the necessary parts, doing repairs, giving the bike a new coat of paint, and making a cushion for the seat.
Caleb wanted to test out the hand pedals while Cristy made some adjustments.
She realized it needed a new front tire, and it went back to the shop for one more repair.
Finally, it was ready, and she was able to deliver it to his house.  He was so happy!

Our friend was able to come to the hospital to say good-bye to Cristy the morning she left.
I've seen him around several times since then, and he always has a big smile on his face!
Having a mode of transportation has improved his quality of life!
